Install in three steps
1. Open the disk image
Double-click the downloaded .dmg file in your Downloads folder.
2. Drag to Applications
In the window that appears, drag the Copytrove icon onto the Applications folder.
3. Open Copytrove
Launch it from Applications or Launchpad. If macOS asks whether to open an app downloaded from the internet, choose Open. Then press ⇧⌘V to open the shelf.
First launch: one permission
Copytrove asks for Accessibility access so it can paste into the app you’re working in. Allow it in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility. Your clipboard content never leaves your Mac.
Already have a licence?
Open Copytrove, go to Settings > License and press “Activate in browser”. You sign in on the web and the app activates itself — no key to copy.

Do I need a licence to try it?
No. The free version needs no account and has no time limit. A licence unlocks Pro features.
How do updates work?
Copytrove updates itself. You only download the disk image once.
Does it run on my Mac?
Yes if it runs macOS 14 Sonoma or later. One build covers both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
How do I remove it?
Quit Copytrove and drag it from Applications to the Trash.
