Copytrove — Refund Policy
DRAFT — not legal advice. A draft awaiting review by a lawyer and an accountant.
[TO BE FILLED: …]fields are unknown facts.Version: draft-1 · 29 September 2026
1. Who refunds?
The seller of purchases made on our website is Paddle (Merchant of Record). Refunds are handled through Paddle, and Paddle's buyer terms (Paddle Invoiced Consumer Terms / Buyer Terms) take precedence over this policy; if this text conflicts with them, Paddle's terms apply. Current terms: https://www.paddle.com/legal/invoiced-consumer-terms [TO BE FILLED: confirm the correct Paddle link once the account is approved]
2. Refund period
- Paddle's standard buyer terms give a 14-day refund request right; the 30-day period below is an additional commitment on top of it.
- For consumers in the EU/UK the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal applies. If you started using the digital content and confirmed this, the right may be subject to exceptions in Paddle's terms; details are in Paddle's text.
- Moontra Software accepts no-questions refunds within 30 days of purchase.
3. How to request
Through the receipt/order link in your Paddle purchase email, or by writing to info@moontrasoftware.com [TO BE FILLED: confirm the exact route once the Paddle account is open]. Please give your order number or the email used for the purchase. Approved refunds return by the original payment method, subject to Paddle's processing time.
4. After a refund
A refunded licence key is treated as invalid; the app returns to the Free tier and your data is not deleted.
5. Trial
You can test Pro with the 14-day free trial before buying; this does not affect your refund right.
6. Mac App Store
If sold on the Mac App Store in future, refunds on that channel are handled by Apple. [TO BE FILLED: add if MAS is released]
